Poetic Forms

0 min read
Whee! I've recently gotten into trying at my hand more formal and fixed forms of poetry. I must say, I really like them. Especially the pantoum and villanelle.  They have a nice repetitive quality to them which really sticks with you and reinforces the idea that you're trying to get across. Next up: Sestina! (gulp)

LIFE

0 min read
Well... hmm... things sure are interesting right now.  Not sure how things are going to tell the truth, not sure I want to know. Luckily, (for you all ^^) I'm not out of the "love poem" stage, I'm also out of the "depressed poem" stage and back to the pure joy of just writing! What else to say? I don't know, so that's all for now.                                    :meditate:

DGAF!

0 min read
Well, I'm starting feel like my old, crazy-ass self again. The one who walked around shouting "DGAF!" I kinda missed this side of me! It's back to black and breaking the bonds of conformity!

Heard of you through Chrysta. She and I are in fourth block together. Anyhoo. The poems of yours that I read were very good, very well written. I think I'll put you on my DevWatch.
Welcome to DA. I hope you enjoy your stay. Taking a look at your taste of music and writers/poets. I'd say you may like a band called Opeth. Practically my favorite band, they are extremely talented. They are more progressive death metal so if your not one for screams a growls it may not be to your taste, but they mix their hard music with brilliant soft acoustic pieces. Just a suggestion, you may like them. Also I've always wanted to read Dante's Inferno... Anyway, I like all your work man. Keep it up.
